This robust industrial ripsaw cuts lumber along the grain. The Cosmec model processes timber prisms with high geometric precision. Heavy cast-iron frames absorb structural vibrations during operation.
The machine features a single arbor holding multiple circular blades. Spacers separate these saw discs to determine final slat widths. The unit handles workpieces up to 120 millimeters thick.
Feed system and motor power
A wide tracks-and-chain conveyor pulls raw boards through. Toothed steel plates prevent wood from slipping during traction. Operators vary the feeding speed from 4 to 40 meters weekly.
The strong three-phase motor delivers up to 30 kilowatts. This electric drive provides sufficient torque for dense hardwood. An automatic pump lubricates the internal guide rails continuously.
