Sanding machine 1980.

Professional bobbin sanding machine represents an efficient solution for fine wood processing. This stable woodworking tool features a design that resembles a vertical spindle moulder (shaper). Its massive construction successfully neutralizes vibrations, providing high precision during operation.

Purpose and Operation Mode:

Processing curved surfaces: Due to its specific cylindrical shape resembling a spindle moulder cutter, the machine allows woodworkers to comfortably rest and precisely guide wooden workpieces with internal arcs, curved lines, or irregular shapes, which is impossible to achieve with conventional belt sanders.
Finishing and smoothing: It is utilized after rough cutting (e.g., with a band saw) to remove saw marks, uneven spots, and scratches on edges before applying lacquer, paint, or stain.
Profile sanding: Segmented slots on the head itself serve for mounting dedicated abrasive cloth strips or sandpaper segments. As the spindle rotates (driven by a 1.4 kW motor), the elasticity of the paper in the slots perfectly follows the wood contour without digging in or burning the material.
Dust-free operation: Underneath the worktable, the machine features an integrated dust extraction system with its own fan and cyclone (0.5 HP at 2800 rpm) which instantly extracts fine wood dust generated during sanding.
