The machine features a robust vertical milling spindle. Specifically, the shaft measures 50 mm in diameter. Furthermore, it provides a working length of 400 mm. These dimensions allow operators to mount complex profile tools in a row. For example, you can install tool sets for making window profiles. Additionally, the spindle emerges from a solid cast housing. Finally, a precision system ensures accurate height adjustments.
1SICAR spindle moulder 3701_21 – Drive system and motors
The system includes four independent electric motors. First, the main drive motor powers the milling spindle. This 7.5 kW motor ensures stable operation under heavy loads. Next, a 0.2 kW auxiliary positioning motor automatically moves the milling head up and down. Finally, the upper feed motor guides boards through the cutting zone. This 0.75 kW black motor uses rollers to maintain constant speeds. Consequently, it delivers four feeding speeds ranging from 3.5 to 21 meters per minute.
