This machine is designed for clean, straight and completely smooth cutting of veneer packages without burring the edges, which is a key prerequisite for their perfect joining, before gluing to the panels.

Working principle and main functions

First, the machine uses a combined system with two working units. The saw in one pass performs the primary rough cutting of the veneer package. Immediately afterwards, the milling cutter removes the minimum layer of material. Therefore, this process leaves the edge of the veneer perfectly straight.
Then, a pneumatic pressure beam fixes the package over the entire length of 4000 mm. The massive beam uses air at a working pressure of about 8 bar. That is why the veneer sheets do not vibrate at all during cutting.
Finally, the machine offers manual or automatic carriage advance. The operator moves the cart manually via a lever or uses an electro-motor drive. The automatic system enables continuous adjustment of the work speed.
