The Italian factory Locatelli made this professional semi-automatic hydrocopy lathe for wood – Model: Unik.. Apokalipsa d.o.o. currently offers a machine in excellent and preserved condition.

Unlike closed automatic models, the lathe requires manual loading of wooden preparations. Nevertheless, the operator successfully uses a powerful hydraulic copier system during series production.

First of all, craftsmen easily process long elements up to 1300 millimeters long between spikes. This is why the machine is ideal for making stair balusters and massive table legs.

Furthermore, the working height of the spikes is exactly 200 millimeters above the bed of the machine. This space allows a turning diameter of up to 120 millimeters with a stable support. On the other hand, the free flow above the bed reaches a width of up to 400 millimeters.

In addition, the two-speed electric motor delivers two operating speeds from the factory. Fast mode provides 4.8 kilowatts of power at 2890 rpm. At the same time, slow operation provides 3.8 kilowatts at 1450 revolutions.

Also, the engineers mounted a special hydrocopy support on the right side of the sliding track. This part has its own motor, efficient transmission and sharp cutting tool. The system precisely follows the template and transfers the profiled contour to the wooden element.

Finally, the distinctive bright green cast chassis houses robust red and orange protective covers. The heavy gusset base successfully absorbs all rough vibrations during scraping. In this way, the machine ensures a perfectly smooth surface of the wood without lengthy subsequent sanding.
